340B DRUG PRICING PROGRAM
To help employers reach significant savings, EAS Health assists hospitals for those eligible for the 340B program.
This program allows eligible organizations to purchase medications at a discounted price. Hospitals that qualify for
this program includes six categories of hospitals: disproportionate share hospitals (DSHs), children’s hospitals,
cancer hospitals, sole community hospitals, rural referral centers, and critical access hospitals. See the full list of

Qualified organizations must register and enroll in the 340B program and EAS Health can assist with registration
to compliance of this program. Once enrolled in the 340B program, organizations are assigned a 340B
identification number and this allows organizations to purchase discounted drugs.
Qualified organizations must meet the below requirements to qualify for the 340B program.
OPERATIONS
Hospitals must be owned or
operated by state or local
government
CORPORATION STATUS
Hospitals must identify as a
public or private non-profit
corporation
CONTRACTS
Have a contract to provide care
to low-income individuals who do
not qualify for Medicaid or Medicare
